A Back button in the toolbar would be helpful — allowing you to return to your previous position in the code after viewing another function.

this is a screen shot from visual studio. in the left hand corner there are navigate back and forward buttons. even with multiple tabs open it will navigate me back and forth from the page i'm on.

Yes, within the same script. For example, if I'm working in a large script with multiple functions and I scroll to another function to review it, it would be helpful to have a Back button that takes me back to my original position in the code.
