As described in the forum post, the Perspective Styles graphical editor currently replaces the styles on a component or a selection of components.

When multiple are selected and they already have unique styles configured, these are all replaced with what you configure in the editor.

If we had an option to instead Merge the styles, then these other unique styles could be maintained.

This is really only applicable when editing multiple components' styles
