ACOP is a standard communication protocol supported by most major torque controller manufacturers. Having a built in communication method would streamline MES solutions for the automotive and manufacturing industries.

I have a copy of the User Guide for Open Protocol for Atlas Copco Torque Tools. We currently use 35 Atlas torque tools. I can share the user guide if you think it might be helpful.

I have created a Python class in Ignition and a UDT to create the TCP connection and subscribe to the Atlas Copco tool.
I used the following code project as a general guide to build the code.
