Please...
The new workflow is just so much less efficient now. I've spent a year trying to give it a chance and get used to it, but it's just wearing me down :( Everything in the new UI needs so many more clicks... It also feels like a wall of text. The original editor is intuitive, easy to use, and most importantly, fast and efficient to use. Everything you need to see was always visible, rather than having to go between fullscreen panels all the time.

We're actively working with users to design the best path forward here.
After initial research, our primary goals are to:
- Keep relevant information and data readily accessible.
- Reduce number of clicks / friction to get to the information.
- Eliminate the "pogo-stick" effect created by sliding, nested panes.

Ray Sensenbach: The first wireframes that were released look great :) They solve many of the pain points of the current design, although I did still have some comments that I attached to the questionnaire about the display of unshown panels in the new design (e.g. keeping the information the same in all panels, disable components, don't hide bits and pieces so that it's easy to flick between tags and compare their configuration)

Yes... dear god yes. Having to make large changes to a project's UDT base almost gave me carpal tunnel from the clicking

cdowns: hahaha. I've made a whole heap of json tools now which certainly help, but certainly don't replace an efficient tag editor
