It would be nice to be able to rename the browser tabs, at least on startup, so when there are multiple tabs open it's easier to spot each one.

We've added this feature to 8.0.4. We added a page property (page.props.title) that can be written to in order to set a different title for the page

awalker: Paul had merged the "Favicon & Tab Name" idea with this, with adding page.props.title that covers the Tab Name, but what about the Favicon? Is that still a planned feature?

It would be nice to be able to change the Favicon for perspective tabs from the ignition logo, some clients would prefer it show their logo. As well for projects where multiple tabs are open frequently, the ability to set a page name for the tab.

Good idea. I've entered this as a feature request in our internal system, my proposal is to expose this text as
page.props.title
and then you can write to this property in any way you so choose.
