This is a request for Apache POI to be upgraded from version 4.1.2 (released in 2020) to version 5.3.0 (current version/released in 2024).

The newest version adds many features that would improve the ability to generate advanced Excel reports from Ignition via scripting.

In particular, the newest version supports many statistical functions such as standard deviation, variance, Poisson distribution, forecasts, and more (https://poi.apache.org/changes.html).

Ignition lacks these types of functions, but the updated Apache POI library would allow for the generation of advanced statistical reports with trends and forecasts via scripting.
