A question such as "...which of the following options appear under the [...] dropdown?" tests memorization, not mastery. When I'm using the software, I'll be able to see all the options in the dropdown. You should test whether I know how to use the various options, not whether I can memorize a list.
It's especially annoying when the dropdown in question was only visible for less than two seconds during the video. Or when your list of answers include choices that mean the same thing. So long as I know what a term means when I see it, I shouldn't have to memorize which jargon your software chooses to use as names, compared to other similar user interface software.
