I like this idea, but our current model for IU is designed around the standard edition. We could decorate videos with "Edge" markers of some sort, but I don't really see the value there. This might just look like a distraction on the lesson pages, since Edge can do quite a bit when compared to standard edition. A significant amount of videos would have this marker.
This also puts us in an odd spot, since we'd have to do more than just mark certain content. For example, if a video demonstrates how to create a project, well that applies to both Edge and Standard. But we likely wouldn't mention the single project limitation Edge has in that video (again, the content is designed around standard edition). Putting an Edge marker on this lesson would not be intrinsically misleading, but feels deceptive all the same.
We could add something to the description of the video, but now we're documenting Edge functionality on the video description of this project creation video, instead of IN the video. To be honest, the user manual does a good job of describing what Edge can and can't do, so it might be best to leave the distinction in the written docs.
Never say never though. This might end up happening in the far future, but for now I'm closing the idea.

pscott: Fair enough, this was a request from a customer how were using the videos as training session more that to past the certification. Regards
