Considering it in what way? The SDK and Maven plugin are IDE-agnostic.

I'm not really sure what this request is asking for. You're free to develop against the Ignition SDK with any code editor or IDE. We provide Maven and Gradle plugins to perform the last-mile step of assembling Java artifacts into a module with a properly formatted XML manifest - but you don't have to use our plugins to do so.
