Add basic drawing tools to Perspective (lines, circles, squares, etc.). If feasible, it would be fantastic to be able to group as well.

Getting a summary of alarms requires computationally expensive polled system.alarm.queryStatus() functions or isAlarmActiveFiltered() expressions. It is commonly required to have this summary available for summary display purposes, such as any alarm present on a UDT or any alarm in an area (under a starting tag path). Providing an automatically updated count on a folder level, similar to what is available per tag where alarms are configured, will solve this problem

Currently, each time you launch a perspective client made with Maker's edition, it presents a popup asking you to again agree to the terms and conditions for maker's addition. For personal projects that are only presenting information, this adds a difficult hurdle to either remote into the machine to accept the license, or to add a touchscreen, or store a mouse somewhere nearby and connect it each time the client resets. This request would work well with the request to purchase additional licenses ( https://inductiveautomation.canny.io/ignition-features-and-ideas/p/add-option-to-purchase-license-for-makers-edition ) as an good incentive to purchase a license would be to remove the popup from being displayed more than the one time per app/client combo.

When a perspective client loses the connection to a gateway due to a cable break or the gateway losing power, the client only detects the lost connection after approximately 2,5 minutes when the WebSocket times out. A crucial part of a redundant system is the ability to detect and react to an unexpected failure like a broken cable or a sudden power loss, in order to retain normal operation. There should be some sort of built in heartbeat functionality to detect an unintentional/unplanned fallout of a gateway in a few seconds rather than in a few minutes so a failover to the backup gateway can be triggered.

Hi In many case we have large HMI with a lot of details and client what to zoom in and pan to see details. The details should hide on lower zoom and visible on higher zoom. It's nice we have a special container with zoom and pan feature and have property of current zoom level. So user can easily bind it to visible property of their object. Right now I can zoom with brower but I can't get zoom level to use it. And also broswer doesn't support pan.

I've heard some sort of offline support has been planned for a while, and the most recent related item I find is this forum post: https://forum.inductiveautomation.com/t/feedback-offline-mode/20259/6 So I'm just wondering if there is any planned offline mode, or if it's still in the roadmap? The idea of offline forms that sync up data entry to the server when back online would be extremely useful. Thanks

We have a number of custom attributes associated to a user in active directory (title, department, employee #). It would be a helpful to be able to add the ability to get at all of those attributes when pulling the user from Active Directory. We are currently working around this by changing the way that the sms attribute is mapped in the active directory user source. Ideally, we'd get a method on the user object that would allow us to get at the custom attribute ex user.getAttribute('title') that would return the appropriate value from AD.
